Now accepting interested, committed, and enthusiastic fledgling performers for our new Apprenticeship Program.
You'll enjoy opportunities and experiences with full members, plus the chance to audition for full membership at any time. Learn, grow, and create in a dynamic, welcoming group.
Requirements:
- 40+ plus hours of beginner or above classes, continuously in the last 12-18 months, or, previous experience in intermediate
- interest/previous experience in learning choreography & improvisation for groups
- strong, dedicated work ethic
- passion for learning
- respect for the dance
- responsibility
- good humour
- ability to attend weekly rehearsals & regular gigs
- current enrollment in Nicola's classes, or, referral from your current teacher
- previous dance, troupe, or competitive sports experiences are ideal.

OPEN CALL! Spots are available for Full Membership now!
Learn group choreography and improv in a wide variety of venues, as well as polish your solo skills. Includes some paid gigs. Learn about all that goes into creating great shows.
We have high expectations of commitment, responsibility, and involvement:
- 30+ hours of intermediate or above classes;
- experience with veil, zills, cane;
- previous performance experience of some kind;
- strong work ethic and dedication to your best dancing;
- competitive sports, other dance experience an asset;
- must work and play well with others.
Audition involves: written application/interview; 3-5 minute solo dance, with a prop, presented to Nicola & troupe; technical review/diagnostic with Nicola; see & repeat dance sequence. Audition may be completed in several stages.
**Costume ownership requirements prior to and upon joining troupe.
